API calls and billing¶

API calls may consume more than one API credit, for example, one API call requesting 1 SERP (Search Engine Results Page) will consume 1 API query; an API requesting 10 SERPs (approximately organic 100 results) will consume 10 API credits.

NB: please note, though, that only successful responses are billed; if you make a request and if, for any reason, we are unsuccessful in retrieving the required data, you will not have consumed any API credits in having made the request; SERPs requests are automatically retried by our system anyway, so this scenario is thankfully a rare one.
